Jon Wasserman, Native of New York and currently based in Madrid, is a specialist in plucked stringed instruments. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Classical Guitar and Ethnomusicology and a Masters Degree in Historical Plucked String Instruments, both from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University as well as, the completion of the "formación continuada" program at Escola Superior de Music de Catalunya. Wasserman is an in-demand lutenist and guitarist, regularly performing with ensembles across the United States, Europe, and South America. In 2022, he published a CD with Duo Isanta & Wasserman called “Tonos Humanos” of 17th and 18th century Spanish music.
