Short Bio: Vanness Yu is a senior double majoring in Music and English, who is currently studying the piano with Betty Woo. In the past, he has studied with Thomas Schultz, Gabriela Martinez and Daniel Shapiro, and has attended summer programs, competitions, and festivals worldwide such as Fiestravaganza in Berlin, and the Brevard Music Center. He has played for pianists in masterclasses such as Leif Ove Andsnes, Michael Chertock, Christian Pohl and Jacques Rouvier. Outside of music, he enjoys meeting new people, reading books, writing food reviews and basketball.

Music

It is primarily music featuring the classical keyboard/piano originating from the 17th century Western European tradition.
