About

I am a young professional violist freelancing and teaching in the Chicago area. I received my music degrees from Rice University and The University of Maryland, with Ivo Van Der Werff and Katherine Murdock as my primary teachers. I am a member of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, and I play in various chamber ensembles and chamber orchestras throughout the city. In my free time I like to read, cook, and exercise.

Music

I like to select pieces that create a mood, and show the color world that the viola can create. I play classical and folk music, and pick pieces from various periods and composers that complement each other.
