Full program notes
This is a delightful program which features pianist Minyi Zhang on the same piano as I!
All of the pieces on this program are by composers from the late romantic period --- arranged for piano four-hands. From a reverent, expansive organ choral by Cesar Franck leads to a journey through slavonic and symphonic dances by Grieg and Dvořak: characters and moods changing and conversing with each dance right until the end.
Program:
C. Franck — from Trois Chorals
- No. 1 in E Major FWV 38
A. Dvořák — from Slavonic Dances Op. 72
- No. 1 in B Major
- No. 2 in E Minor
---Intermission---
