 Groupmuse present Schubert’s String Quintet in C Major\, D. 956 — one 
 of the defining masterpieces of the chamber music repertoire\, brought to 
 life by an exceptional international ensemble.\nWritten in 1828\, during t
 he final months of Schubert’s life\, the String Quintet occupies a singu
 lar place in chamber music. Scored for two violins\, viola\, and two cello
 s\, its distinctive instrumentation creates a remarkable depth of sound 
 — moving between luminous lyricism\, profound stillness\, and an almost 
 symphonic emotional scale.\n\nDmitri Berlinsky\, Taisiya Losmakova\, Marij
 a Räisänen\, Mickey Katz\, and Adrian Daurov come together in New York f
 or a complete performance of this monumental work. Collectively\, the musi
 cians bring extensive international experience across the world’s concer
 t stages\, orchestras\, and chamber music institutions.\n\nSet within a hi
 storic Upper East Side setting\, the evening brings together Schubert’s 
 music\, architecture\, and a New York audience for a singular celebration 
 of one of the composer’s final and greatest works.\n\nDress Code: Elegan

 TISTS\n*Dmitri Berlinsky · Violin*\nInternationally acclaimed violinist D
 mitri Berlinsky rose to prominence as the youngest winner in the history o
 f the Paganini International Violin Competition\, followed by major prizes
  at the Montreal\, Tchaikovsky\, and Queen Elisabeth competitions. He has 
 performed at Carnegie Hall\, the Kennedy Center\, Berlin Philharmonie\, Le
 ipzig Gewandhaus\, Tokyo’s Suntory Hall\, and other leading internationa
 l stages. Berlinsky is Professor of Violin at Michigan State University an
 d founder and Artistic Director of the International Chamber Soloists.\n\n
 *Taisiya Losmakova · Violin*\nBelarusian-born\, New York–based violinis
 t Taisiya Losmakova made her Carnegie Hall debut as a chamber musician at 
 Weill Recital Hall and maintains an active international career as a soloi
 st and chamber musician. Prior to moving to the United States\, she served
  as Concertmaster and Artistic Lead of the Presidential Orchestra of the R
 epublic of Belarus and appeared as a soloist with the Belarusian State Phi
 lharmonic. Alongside her performing career\, Taisiya is the co-founder and
  creative producer of ART&MUSICA\, creating a new generation of classical 
 music experiences in New York.\n\n*Marija Räisänen · Viola*\nPraised fo
 r her expressive artistry and vivid musical presence\, Finnish-Lithuanian 
 violist Marija Räisänen is an internationally active chamber musician. A
  founding member of the Erinys Quartet from 2018 to 2026\, she received Fi
 rst Prize at the 2025 Trondheim International Chamber Music Competition. S
 he has performed at the Lucerne Festival and Konzerthaus Berlin and collab
 orated with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra and Finnish Radio Symphony O
 rchestra. Marija studied at the Sibelius Academy\, Curtis Institute of Mus
 ic\, Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía\, and Indiana University Jac
 obs School of Music.\n\n*Mickey Katz · Cello*\nIsraeli-born cellist Micke
 y Katz has been a member of the Boston Symphony Orchestra since 2004\, whe
 re he holds the Stephen and Dorothy Weber Chair. An active chamber musicia
 n\, he has appeared at the Marlboro Music Festival and collaborated with m
 embers of the Juilliard and Guarneri Quartets\, as well as Pinchas Zukerma
 n and Gil Shaham. Katz studied with Laurence Lesser at the New England Con
 servatory and currently serves on the faculties of the New England Conserv
 atory and Tanglewood Music Center\n\n*Adrian Daurov · Cello*\nSt. Petersb
 urg-born\, New York–based cellist Adrian Daurov has appeared as a solois
 t and chamber musician throughout the United States and Europe and serves 
 as Principal Cellist of the Chamber Orchestra of New York. A graduate of T
 he Juilliard School\, he recently appeared as soloist at Carnegie Hall’s
  Zankel Hall\, performing Tchaikovsky’s Variations on a Rococo Theme wit
 h the Chamber Orchestra of New York. Daurov performs on a 1989 cello craft
