A brilliant scholar trades his soul to the devil for youth and one more taste of love, and gets far more than he bargained for. Charles Gounod's Faust is grand opera at its most human, seduction, betrayal, a mother's grief, and one of opera's most transcendent finales, where a wronged woman finds redemption even as the devil comes to collect.
From the swaggering Song of the Golden Calf to the tender Jewel Song, to the rare Spinning Wheel song, Amore Opera brings this classic to life at St. Paul & St. Andrew. Get your tickets now, before the devil gets there first.
