This is a Groupmuse Night Out

Explore the wider world of music outside Groupmuse with exclusive discounts to local concerts.

Host

Groupmusers can pick up their tickets at Will Call. Seating is assigned.

Experience a luminous evening with the New Century Chamber Orchestra as they present Luminaries — a program that celebrates bold creativity, vibrant virtuosity, and the radiant spirit of music itself. Led by Music Director and Concertmaster Daniel Hope, the concert brings together freshly commissioned works by celebrated American composers Jake Heggie and Nathaniel Stookey alongside Joseph Bologne’s dazzling Violin Concerto in A Major (performed by Hope) and Tchaikovsky’s richly melodic Souvenir de Florence, a work that culminates in shimmering strings and expressive depth.

Thanks to Groupmuse Nights Out, discounted tickets are available for the Saturday, March 14, performance at Presidio Theatre, making it easier to experience this inspiring mix of premieres and beloved classics live. We’re excited to help bring our community closer to performances that ignite imagination and illuminate the power of live music — don’t miss your chance to secure special-price tickets for a concert that shines with artistry, innovation, and brilliant ensemble playing!
