Inspired by Mary Oliver’s iconic poem “Wild Geese,” this program asks: What is it about the natural world that makes us reflect on our humanity? Through sound and silence, grief and grace, Cappella Clausura explores how music becomes a mirror for our connection to the earth and to one another. 🌎💫
The program features stunning works by Caroline Shaw, Evelin Seppar, Melinda Wagner, Patricia Van Ness, and others — each piece a vibrant meditation on nature’s power to reveal identity, loss, and renewal. Expect harmonies that shimmer like sunlight through leaves, and moments of quiet that remind us of our place “in the family of things.” 🌾🎶
Offered on two dates:
🕓 November 15 at 4 PM – Grace Episcopal Church, Newton
🕓 November 16 at 4 PM – Emmanuel Church, Boston
🎟️ Thanks to Groupmuse’s Nights Out program, 55% off tickets are available — making it easier than ever to experience this luminous, soul-stirring performance!
