 open 2pm\; POTLUCK dinner buffet\n\nCatherine Doss is a pianist based in M
 anassas\, Virginia. Recent appearances include the Cliburn Amateur Festiva
 l\, PianoTexas\, and the Washington International Piano Artists Competitio
 n\, where she was a top prizewinner. An avid chamber musician and collabor
 ative pianist\, she has worked with the Wilmington Choral Society\, Interl
 ochen Arts Camp\, and Pensacola Opera\, where she served as Music Director
  of the Artists in Residence Program. Catherine holds bachelor's and maste
 r's degrees in Piano Performance from the University of Cincinnati College
 -Conservatory of Music.\n\nMaggie is an accomplished mezzo-soprano who has
  performed leading and supporting roles with companies including the Victo
 rian Lyric Opera Company\, Bel Cantanti Opera\, Shakespeare Opera Theatre\
 , Marble City Opera\, Knoxville Opera\, Asheville Lyric Opera\, Brevard Mu
 sic Center\, and the University of Tennessee Opera Theatre. Career highlig
 hts include the title role in the world premiere of Larry Delinger's Medea
 \, Katisha in The Mikado\, Dorothée in The Anonymous Lover\, and appearan
 ces in Ruddigore\, Hansel and Gretel\, Rigoletto\, The Ballad of Baby Doe\
 , and La fille du régiment. Equally at home on the concert stage\, she pe
 rforms regularly with Sopranessence\, Opera on Tap\, and the Friday Mornin
 g Music Club\, and was a semifinalist in the professional musical theatre 
 division of the 2024 CS Music Competition. A dedicated educator since 2016
 \, Maggie teaches voice and piano while serving as Director of Communicati
 ons and Outreach for Sopranessence\, where she leads publicity and communi
 ty engagement initiatives.\n\n\nUn Été Français\n\nWith everything goin
 g on these days\, we wanted to put together a program that is simply enjoy
 able — music that is beautiful\, entertaining\, and uplifting. Un Été 
 français (A French Summer) brings together French and French-inspired wor
 ks for solo piano and voice\, with works by Debussy\, Ravel\, Hahn\, Chami
 nade\, Messiaen\, Chopin\, and contemporary composers.\n\nPotLuck Dinner B
 uffet. Host will provide two hot hors d'oeuvres & punch for potluck recept
 ion during intermission & beginning\, when doors open. Guests are encourag
 ed to bring food/wine to share/potluck\; if considering a sweet\, think ab
 out fruit instead of processed sugar. Music begins at 3pm\, please be on t
 ime 2pm\, 2 sets with 1 short intermission\, substance one longer set. Gue
 sts most welcome and encouraged to bring dish/drink to share/potluck\, ple
 ase consider bringing wine if you use it. Stemware/Ice Buckets/Filtered Wa
